Writing is a solitary process, but to be successful at this art form, we need the support of editors, publishers, marketers and most importantly – readers. With over a million new books published each year, our literary efforts languish without a spotlight to draw potential readers to our book. I am deeply indebted to the Rave Reviews Book Club and its foundress, author Nonnie Jules, for providing that focused attention. If you are a writer, I encourage you to check out the Club’s website. If you decide to join, you will find a community of like-minded folks who’d like to get to know you. I am a lifetime member.
In addition, I’m also a member of these two organizations.
Within the Rave Reviews Book Club is RWISA, Rave Writers - International Society of Authors. Membership in RWISA is by invitation and is limited to those writers who are “committed and dedicated to excellence.” I'm most honored to be part of this distinguished group of writers. If you are interested, please go to its website for information.
The Ozarks Writers League is “dedicated to promoting writing, literacy, photography, and art.” From aspiring writer to seasoned authors, the League offers assistance and fellowship to its members and meets four times a year in Branson, MO.
